In the out-of-the-box Ariba solution, admins can edit all users or adjust all types of approval flows. However, if these tasks are not performed carefully—especially the latter—they can lead to serious errors, placing high demands on the admin’s comprehensive knowledge of the system. On the other hand, ADAPPTool admin interventions can be strictly limited to targeted tasks, Ariba modules, business units, or geographical areas, and the tool does not allow inappropriate actions that could have adverse effects. Master data is loaded into Ariba out of the box as free-text CSV files. The absence of advanced integrated quality control often leads to the loading of non-existent or erroneous data (e.g., case sensitivity issues). ADAPPTool CSVs are based on predefined data, ensuring there are no syntax errors or invalid data. This is achieved by using your Ariba master data from the API, predefining custom data within the tool, and fetching user data from active directories, etc.
